Update

Just a quick update for everyone.
We are very close to having a new space, which we will announce officially once everything has been sorted with that, but expect to see something in the next week or two. Also we should be incorporated by early next week. Things are still happening with the group, and we are VERY close to big news. So keep an eye on the blog and Facebook page, and don’t forget to join us in IRC

TRIPLE CITIES MAKERSPACE, INC. TO MOVE FROM NYPENN TRADE CENTER

Effective today, March 23, 2013, Triple Cities Makerspace, Inc. will no longer be located at the NYPENN Trade Center. This move comes after some time of failed negotiations with regard to the use and security of the space.

This isn’t the end of Triple Cities Makerspace. We are actively seeking and working with future partners to secure a space with our use and security needs agreed to by all parties involved before we move in. We have temporarily put our tools and furniture into storage while we fast track the move to our next space. We will, of course, keep everyone in the loop on the progress being made. This move will allow Triple Cities Makerspace to not only move into a space better suited to our needs but for us to better serve the community of the Southern Tier of New York.

Triple Cities Makerspace will hold meetings in public spaces in the near future, once a venue for these meeting has been secured. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and blog for updates as they are released.
